I have spoken with various members of the public about the proposed nursing home on the site of the Ash Meadow Pub. Residents are generally supportive, they feel that it is better than the housing proposal that was there, and that it will provide a valuable resource to the local community - particularly as there are a number of elderly people that live within the immediate area.
