Constituency matters

The main meeting of the day was with Ifor Jones, Director of Constituencies, but also a local resident. We mainly covered the financial pressures that constituencies are under, sharing successful best practice and looking at operating pilot schemes to encourage innovation.

Canvassing in the evening which is important for councillors to keep in contact with residents whom they represent and help them address issues of concern.
