I have had several recent enquiries about what is happening with the old petrol station on Bells Lane, Druids Heath, by the British Legion Club.
I have been informed by a council officer that there are no plans. In February 2005 approval was given for erection of a driving test centre on the site. However, I understand that the Driving Standards Agency is no longer pursuing that proposal.
