Today I attended the Brandwood Ward Committee and was re-elected Chairman as it’s the first meeting of the new municipal year. Also I was appointed to the Allens Croft Project as the Council representative.
There was a lot covered at the meeting - the main items of discussion was the Section 106 money that is given to local projects when there are major planning applications. We also had the ward based cleansing representatives who dealt with issues about rubbish collections within the area. The grants for the Neighbourhood Forums were approved, as was new street lighting for Taylor Road.
